Roots Brew Pub

“Have you been to the new Reggae Brew Pub in town?” the common reply I got from this question last night at Conan’s was “What?” I had heard about it from a dragon boat teammate and then their was a “smoke-free bike pub crawl” that started off their last Friday. Interesting. I called Ras Danny and he didn’t even know what I was talking about. Not sure how a new Reggae Brew Pub slipped by the Portland Reggae Massive but it was time to check it check it out. Xacto stopped by the spot and we rolled over to SE, 7^th & Hawthorne to be exact. Low and behold, Red/Gold/Green paints up the place and the sweet sounds of reggae music was nicing up the area. They close at 10:00 so we had enough time for one pint and some conversation and then we were out. Brody poured us each a pint of Roots Brew Organic IPA and it was taaaaassty. Food options were pizza, chips, and those sort of things. Heard rave reviews about the guest Porter they got on tap too. Hope to do some djing up in that spot sometime soon.
